ICAO
released (18-Dec-2012) its preliminary traffic* highlights for 2012,
which showed passenger numbers rose 5% year-on-year to 2.9 billion in
2012. According to current projections, ICAO expects passenger numbers
to reach 6 billion by 2030. 2012 traffic details include:
